More Medallions of Permanence!
A secret council convened recently to discuss an important matter. Present were Crown-Legate Crimm, Storm-Brigadier Rand, Allur Rag-Veta, Gaor Trad, Legate Val-Tar and Colosseum's Master Davian. These esteemed seasoned warriors decided to change the rules for accessing the Trial of Combat. From here on out, any warrior who wishes to fight Adan's best will first have to prove their valor and battle mastery in the Battlegrounds.
When fighting in the Arena of Honor, Seven Bridges of Shadan or Sea Battle and proving your worth as a warrior, you will receive the Trail of Combat Quest that pits you against Crimm or Rand. Winning it will earn you the
Medallions' stats were also changed.

Medallion's effect duration is 90 minutes, their lifetime - 6 hours.
Medallions can be upgraded to a higher level. To do so, prior to battling the veterans, take part in the Arena of Honor, Seven Bridges of Shadan or Sea Battles and earn the required amount of Battle Points.
After completing the Quest for level 3 reward, you will be offered to choose between two items: the
The cooldown between Trial of Combat Quests remains unchanged.
must agree with both of you, i
I doubt that all the lvl 70s like it that much, they've got clannies and other players to buy their stuff as well. This update will cause less hops for lower lvls so less gold for the lvl 70s as well.
Many of you recall, there was no HoP, Medallions, and we didn't get all dot spells or a mission to do and hit 1k Glad rep in a few days when we walked in the door either.....So why the complaints from everyone?
And before anyone throws stones, my valor is not as high as some, but I did not sit at lvl 50 for a year doing arenas and farming ess.. I hit 50 and the lvl cap changed.
This does effect us. Medallion is still new, and all it has done is slow down Players, meaning less to play with in the upper levels. From what I read, you can still get the Medallion that you used to get, with a longer life span, if you just go play in the arena, which I think is always a great thing for the whole game. Smashy Smashy
D3athKnight,
I love it, especially for my clan mates. As Chloe said, so many have shut down and refused to play except for the 1.5 hours they had medallion. Boring!!!! Bring on the Exp, Bring on the Levels, Have Fun!
A great number of people are NEVER happy. They are constant complainers. Always look for stones to throw at someone. DE community is not different from any other community. Nothing administration can do will make them happy. A great example is Rage of Elements. Plenty of people bitch about that event, now the same people petition to have RoE back.
I think it just depends on their perspective. Mine is that I want to be on track with the reputations as listed in the game. To do that, I am way behind for my level. The Medallion allowed me to do HoP and gain experience-free money to use to claim quests, or even do some pvp to get valor without exps.
I can see where it will help level 70's, especially those who are behind on valor. It's detrimental for those who are using the games reputations for guidance to where they should be level-wise in relation to those reps. For example, I'm at level 53 and there is a baldric that is level 53 that requires 37,000 protector rep, I'm about 6,200 rep away from that.
Like Arenas will fire more often now, won't happen. So that'd be kind of stupid to implement something like this if you can't possibly get it because you cannot finish the quest if nobody else is helping you do Arenas.
ThisNsihT,
There will, most probably, always things to improve. And this is certainly NOT an improvement for 90% of the players. For players who don't cash but still want to have good valor etc. is this a very, very, very dissapointing update.
I would also want to ask you to stop insulting people just for the heck of it.
Glean,
I play exactly the same way and this will ruin every plan I made for the future...on the other hand, more RL-time! Now I'll play like I used to: log in 2mins every 2hours but only really play when I'm valorcapped.
