Mixed SBs
Please vote if you would like this to implemented or not.
Vote ends on the 10th.
If yes, then I will work with Dreidan to figure out timeframe of when it might come when he returns from holidays.
If no, then we do not need to further discuss the idea and it will be put to bed.

Okay, so the mixed SBs, is really us just bringing back how SBs used to be.
When I began sea battles about 5 years ago- it used to be that, when there wasn’t enough players for 1 side, a sea battle could still go as long as 10 people were present regardless of faction.
For example-
9 blue and 2 red, SB would still go and they would have 2 captains, whichever of the 11 had highest level or Corsair rep got to be captain. For example, if it was me and themamma in SB and everyone else was level 60 and below, both of us would then be the captains fighting each other and the rest of the 9 players would get shuffled up between us.
If everyone is under the impression, every sea battle would be shuffled up, this is not the case. I am sorry for the confusion. The shuffling up of players only occurs if one side or the other doesn’t have enough people.
This is more geared towards making SB go in general.
The award for the Mixed naval battle - the number of piastres received, the awards for cannon combat and the number of Heroism points for boarding are 2 times less than in inter-factional combat.
If you wish to change your vote because heroism is 50% lower for any Mixed SBs - feel free to do so. I will not count final votes until the 10th.

Награда за Смешанное морское сражение – количество получаемых пиастров, награды за пушечный бой и количество очков Героизма за абордаж – в 2 раза меньше, чем в межфракционном бою.

Anyways I'll get my clannies in forum and let them decide theirselves I'm not going to force them into anything
Or heres another idea, keep it the same but if not enough valor in sb .. i mean the full 5 needed to run, then open it up for sadar against sadar teams. I say the full, because leaves room for one valour to stay in queue and mess it all up.
That is just a suggestion if we cant find a middle ground on mixed Sb's, i do really like the element of surprise in it all.
Most of the people saying no have posted within the last 3 months how they wanted mixed SB....now you got your neph....don't want to be on the other side of the mega spender in SB......All good. Don't forget if rebirth every happens you may need to do the Neph quests over again....THEN I'll laugh as you whine again...
I vote Yes... It's better than letting the server continue to die.
valor have enoph for go, but lol always broke our q, or i missed sb or my friends, but unbufed lol clan in always...
Just make it like the good ole days where if one side is overloaded with players in queue they can fight each other. Half the rewards is still better than nothing.

Also some reward ie heroism/piaster for the losing teams as well. I don’t want to be completely wasting the hour for SB.
That is what the mixed SBs is going for. So, should no Vaalorians elect to join , it would end up being Red versus Red.
Perhaps the name is misleading, but essentially what we are voting on is to have the old system brought back.
Aka, when it was possible to have red & blue on one team, or if no blues join in, red versus red.
Your vote is no, but it seems to be more aligned with a yes. But I will count is as no.
Right now as it stands, it appears majority do not want the old system but prefer the factions to remain separate.

And for anyone voting with multiple characters, I took the first toon you voted with. If you don’t want that to be the official answer , then you can remove your response when I recount at the end of the polling process.
oh and there are 7 people who cannot get on the forum who also say YES.
I think there is some confusion about what mixed sb actually means.
I assumed that mixed sb means that everyone who joins q will be randomly assigned to teams regardless of faction and there was an equal chance of having a smurf on my team as one of my clannies.

The mixed SB idea was really just to bring back how SBs used to be because, for a long time, SB were not going in general. Obviously, now they are more active since the Outpost quest got a lot of us going in.
If everyone wants every single sea battle to be mixed up- that would be a different vote.
