Professions in the world of Adan!

Finally, something you’ve all been waiting for,... Professions are here!

Now you can have a reprieve from battle, while enjoying peaceful fulfillment and financial benefit! All professions are divided into two types: gathering and crafting.

The gathering professions are: Farmer, Prospector, Hunter and Fisherman.

If you like working in the garden, or watching how tiny seeds grow and ripen into succulent fruits, the Farmer's profession will suit you perfectly.

If you prefer to be the boss and hire mine workers to collect minerals and ore, or saw logs at a mill, then you might consider the profession of Prospector. But do not think that this is a simple way of earning gold. You have to compete with other players for limited resources, as any other prospector can attack your employees. If you will not intervene protect your claim, the mines will have a new master.

A Hunter's job will suit someone who likes excitement and fresh air. There are two ways to hunt the plentiful game on Tartu: simply attack wandering animals with a hunting knife or place special traps for different types of prey: snares for beasts, traps for giant insects and bird cages.

Fishermen are well aware that their favorite activity is in no way devoid of excitement and even romance. Tartu has a rich watershed and the continent is surrounded by water, so there are boundless choices for the would-be fisherperson: lakes, rivers and seas. To catch fish, cast your net and use bait to lure as many underwater inhabitants as you can. Soon, you will be able to fish with fishing rods as well.

You can choose only one gathering profession, but it can be changed at any time. If you change the profession while extracting resources, those will be lost, but your skill and the resources you have already extracted will remain.

Regarding the Crafting professions, there are five in the world of Adan: Blacksmithing, Alchemy, Inscription, Jewelery and Cooking.

All manufacturing professions are available initially, but in order to create object or tool, you must have the required skill level, and to obtain instructions for its manufacture. You can receive these recipes by performing tasks, or in some cases, by purchasing them in the shop.

Also, from now on, you can buy a room in the tavern at the Winery Crossroads, or rent one for 30 days. Each room has a chest that has a capacity of 25 slots for your items.

Professions currently are working in test mode and will be improved over the next month.

Something new to learn and compete on.
Sweet you guys are awesome :-)
I'm so lost as to how to actually mine stuff - all my miners disappeared but with no option to fight for them or anything that I can see. Argh!
thx again for something interesting yet again.
this is very exciting, now there is more to this game then "see that? ok go kill it".
gives the game more depth and feeling
sweet

Yeah!!! Fishing that is me!
Gotta love the bank! Thanks for the storage :)
I LOVE THIS :D thanks for the professions :)
What a great add on to this... Keeps getting better and better.
Excellent update, keep up the exceptional work and bringing us even more interesting things to do, and thank you for more space, my backpack thanks you
Great addition. Still getting my head around hunting but we'll see how it goes!
generally good, but big BUT estodno
1. too high costs of collection and production
2. too little demand for the products
3. very slowly pumped Skill
4. production of gray orbs and cans that nobody wants at a loss

necessary to accelerate the growth of skill, and enter the recipes for the production of green cans and orbs

sorry for my bad English
I need to agree with Groves above. Too slow to progress and too costly
inflation rampant. I love selling the stuff at x2 what they are really worth
Concur with evil laugh above ... heh.
love the addition to the game ...

I was thinking that since now players can create the gladiator armor themselves with the Blacksmith crafting profession, that players should be able to sell the armor they make at the auction house. It's been mentioned to me that some players fear that making the gladiator armor transferable will somehow interfere with the voucher quests, as they enjoy the opportunity to work for the armor via the voucher quests. I would suggest maybe just making the gladiator armor transferable while still making the voucher quests available for players who choose other professions so that they may continue to acquire armor or replacement armor with vouchers and so blacksmiths might sell their armor at the auction house to make some gold.

just a thought.
