Changes to Auction Rules
The following changes have been made to the
• Auction tax is now charged only after you sell the lot. In case the lot is not sold, the tax will not be applied.
• The item that you put on the Auction stays in your Backpack and continues to use a slot until it is sold. It will be displayed black-and-white in your Backpack.
• Bidding for a lot now lasts for 10 hours. This period can't be changed.
• Minimum starting bid is equal to the price of selling an item from your Backpack.
I agree, DE should increase the size of the tavern to 50 or more.
Tyvm!
And if the auction can only be for 10 hours and can't be changed why did I just put up 2 things that say 12 hrs not 10?
- - - - - on the items in AH are not removed from BP space
those that have gathered 10R and managed to buy a porting stone will have less problem but still this needs a bit of rethinking
I do like the tax being only charged if the items sell. This is a long over-due change.
I would like to be able to go to winery crossroads to buy a tavern room though. Looks like I'll have to sell some of my stuff just to do that, maybe I can find someone to buy it from me and sell it back when I get there...Hmm.
that is a pretty damn good question O.O if one does not have the money to pay the tax afterwards does that mean item will not sell?
Roanoa_Zoro and Ironic123 I do believe that the tax will be removed from the sale price, so it won't make a difference if you have 100g or only 1 copper, the tax won't effect your sale.
What were the main reasons for doing this? as I see very little benefit, especially with a 10 hour sale window, just to see that nobody has bough and your stuck for another 10 hours.....er, me think there needs to be a rethink on this one!
Keep up the good work admins !
The first question I don't got any idea, but the second I do know.
It means that you putted the item up ah right before a new hour started, for example 19:57.
Otherwise it wouldn't be fair to let you pay more because you putted 3minutes to early at ah.
I can always be wrong though, you could always ask a guardian to be sure .
