Squall LeonhartElvisTheKingIf you don't have 10-12 hrs a day to finish quest, I suggest you take a break for 5-6 days. The advantage gained by the hard-core players who finish the first day will make the quest even harder.

I also see the hunter's punishment is still in effect, made worse by palar too. With palar running I'm getting 2 elemental summons without getting a 2nd beast, having to do 10k+ damage to get 1 set of supplies. That's just stupid. The game kills it's own economy. Takes about a week after event to get back to "normal".

I'm keeping track of Quintar's per battle, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. 22 in a loss, 18 in a win, #1 in damage in both, that sort of thing.

I keep getting more and more reasons to quit. Less and less to keep playing.

Edit: Palar not causing 2x elementals in traps, got 2x against a 7b ghost too, won't do that again.

10-12hrs a day? im almost completed it in 8hrs of gameplay and will finish it in the first hour or so tomorrow. true im at a lower bracket it may make it easier but 10-12hrs a day is just ridiculous. and no im not a casher i got all my gear from doing caves and Insignias


this is a very easy quest 7hrs two toh and done ... easy, also the 350+ mana pots from chest give me an extra 450 ess when farming makes up for it. But I love this quest easy and lots of valor makes ppl do aoh and 7b and I need/want the rep . you have 5 days to do it think that's way more then fair even if I was busy for 4 days no sweat

This is the first time I have done this quest and its ruining my character. I wanted my protector to 1k before levelling to the 22 group. If this quest hadn't have come, I would not have levelled. The result is that I am lowest in my level group, therefore always losing against higher levels, not getting quintars which means its taking forever to do. Also my gear is constantly breaking so my gold has gone down massively. There seems to be no logical reason as to why this quest is even hear. please listen to people this time and not do it again

Surftus Fire yeah I hear you i had a big problem with it too but if you do toh you get a ton wether you win or lose I have no clue why but I guess its because toh isnt really a team based arena. So I recommend TOH if you want to get rid of this and finish early.

still havent recieved initial event quest portals of fire and cant collect quintars :(

so don't go into arena until you get 1k pro and mount unless it is day of battle steel. problem solved

Although I actually quite enjoyed aspects of the event (I needed valor and it brought plenty of people into the arenas) there is definitely no sense to the distribution of Quintars unless I am missing something. I got as high as 56 from one battle when I did not get top damage and won, but got as low as 2 for doing the most damage and winning. I could give you 100 examples of the random distribution and started looking for deeper reasons like amount of mana used - still random. Different types of magic depending on the portal from quest - still random.
All in all i think it cost me about 20g to complete, but i hear some people claiming it cost a LOT more.
I believe the admin team should take some learnings from this quest.
Either make it optional or don't do it at all.
Make the distribution of quintars logical
Allow hunters to clear traps without additional mobs appearing
If you arent going to make it optional make the rewards better - What did we actually get for completing it? A bucket load of mana elixirs and a few insignias. In my opinion that is not a fair swap for 20g.
If it hadnt been for the fact I needed Valor I would not have bothered with the event and would have taken 5 days off.

because I lvled too quick because of this quest I do not have a mount. this means I am getting 2-4 quintars a time. finally doing the last section of this stupid quest but it has taken me hours upon hours to complete it. I actually do have a life and would like to live it. unless for good reason, please stop putting quests on that no one even wants let alone has the time for
