Iron Ring Opens Its Doors in Dagdor!

Anything can be tiresome if done over and over again. Even the most skilled warriors become jaded with time, craving for a different kind of adventure. If you have already reached level 52 and are looking for something to spice up your travels, then make sure to take part in the tournament in the famous Dedaire Iron Ring.

Dedaires who live behind the impregnable walls of Dagdor are considered a race of great artisans, and rightfully so. For them work is the source of joy and pride, not a burden one has to tolerate. However, their hard-working nature doesn't mean they don't know how to have fun.

Of course, Dedaires' resourceful minds and inquisitive spirits wouldn't settle for mundane entertainment. The Iron Ring they built is a true wonder. Fights of robotic gladiators in the arena quickly became the favorite show in the City-in-Rock. Only elite few are allowed to participate in the tournament, but your old friend Shtold Ventos is willing to put in a good word for you.

However, Shtold's recommendation won't be enough. You will also have to complete the tasks of Elder Craftsman Berilaina Khalduin. If you prove your worth, she will allow you to pick your own Mechanoid and send it to battle against other iron gladiators. Each victory in the Ring is rewarded with Dedaire Guldens that can be spent on upgrades for your Mechanoid in the Spare Parts Shop near the Gates of Dagdor. Upgrades improve different aspects of your Mechanoid's battle skills: durability, damage, special attacks, and other.

Mechanoid owner who manages to win twelve battles will write their name in history and will be rewarded with the prestigious Iron Ring Winner's Cup. Good luck, warriors! May the strongest Mechanoid win!

I don't have any quest. Does anyone know what are the prerequisites ?

Refresh and look for quest named "Iron Ring". If you do not have the NPC in location make sure to finish the quest named "Meeting with Shtold" in narrative quests tab.
Is there a point to this quest other than a stupid Winner's Cup, if there is I don't see it.

Guldens you get from tournament will be used in some other places ;)
