Rage of the Elements is Rampant on Tartu!

An unseen disaster has befallen Adan!

Portals of Elements appear all around the continent of Tartu, devouring fluids of magic. Even the Elder Dragons themselves are affected by this new plight, which distorts magical energies, making the life of spellcasters harder. Everyone can feel the effects of the Rage of the Elements VI: Mana generation is significantly reduced, and Elemental Monsters interfere with all combats, with the exception of Arena of Honor, Seven Bridges of Shadan, Tournament of Honor, King of the Hill, and Sea Battles. If this goes on any longer, all the magic will be absorbed by the strange Portals, leaving our world defenseless against the forces of Shaab.

Fortunately, there is a way to preserve the magical energies of Adan. To do so, complete the 6 Quests of Myratella Kharmai and obtain  Quintars in PvP combats. You can also get these magical particles by fighting Elemental Monsters near the Portals. The best wizards of Tartu will then use Quintars to close the Portals.

Please note that Quintars are only rewarded for slaying Elemental Monsters at Portals that are the objective of Myratella Kharmai's current Quest. Each closed Portal reduces the level of Reage of the Elements, which, in its turn, reduces the number of Elemental Monsters that interfere with your combats.

Event will start December 9 12:00 Server Time. All Portals must be closed by December 14 12:00 Server Time. Players that fail to do so will be penalized with a 24-hour long Elemental Collapse that reduces your Characteristics.

Players of level 9 and higher can participate in this Event. You can learn more about it here.

Seriously again? Last event was like less than 2 months ago. There was no warning, and this is very costy event and with little warning, lot of people will just struggle to get the money to do it. AND on top of that, the Shaabs event is coming week after. Dont you think there are too many events going on just after each other?
What the actual hell didn't even give us a freakin warning, you know this costs a buttload of money ">
Well, here's a week I won't be playing at all
and i was just getting back into playing this game again. guess im gonna probley be taking a nice long break from it again.
perhaps if you increased the drop rate of the stupid quintars from like 1 per portal fight to 5 people might find it a lot easier to do. Also, how does the game work out many quintars you get for PvP because before i lost a AoH, did like 3k damage and for 23 quintars, next AoH i won did about 5k damage and got like 6 quintars
- that is all
keet complaining
Dear DE Santa , please lose the Rage of Elements and the Shaab event somewhere in the vast ocean never to be seen again as with these two events upon us they well make our Christmases very miserable and I believe most of us have enough of that in our real lives that we need some joy even for awhile. They say “if you truly believe in something it will come true”, and so I believe that in some way you will make all of us very happy in some way very soon. And to all , Merry Christmas and hopefully a brand new New Year’s with many changes in real life and as well as in this game.
just get rid of the punishments and forced pvp's XD

apart from that i enjoy it
hell i know several players on aer server quit because of this event. really does a business want to lose customers and players over this event ? doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out a hated event loses cash, buyers, players and game popularity in the long run, they must want to kill their own game in the long run isn't hard to think things through
Dragoneater,

Shaab event is actually pretty awesome, as long as you don't screw around with defilers you'll be fine ;)

But rage of the elements sux, better ways to gain hero rep
Joseph453,

I agree totally.
Finally, it's about time we had an event that will allow you to spend lots of gold while not allowing you to earn any. Thank you so much for this event. (please note the sarcasm).
As a hunter who didn't have anywhere near a sufficient amount of gold to enable me to complete it, I will be forced to either pay reals (hint: ain't going to happen) for combat, or just wait it out. I'll continue to try to do some professions now that the backpack restrictions won't be as big of a problem since I won't need to move. Although it really hasn't been successful to this point.
Oh well, I do recall hearing that this is an event that many players like, and that the rewards can be sold to help finance the event, but it's my experience that this event falls well short of my expectations of a gaming experience.
There are many things I like about this game, this happens to be one area I greatly dislike.
