Giehl's Unfortunate Bracelet

Warriors of level 39 and above, new adventures await you!

If you ever wandered into eastern Tartu and passed the Kalamar desert, you surely stopped to behold the majestic ruins of the Ancient Temple, sunk into sand, with archaeologists carefully treading around them. The excavation is led by Giehl Cardin, a young but very promising historian. Giehl supervises the diggers, cleans and registers found relics and deciphers the meaning of runes and signs that are unfamiliar to any of the races that inhabit Adan. Peaceful mundane work, one would say. But sometimes the ancient artifacts hold more than just memories of the times long gone.

Uncovering yet another layer of sand, Giehl found a beautiful ancient bracelet. The finding fascinated the archaeologist so much that he couldn't resist the urge to try it on. But as soon as he did, the bracelet clicked, gripping Giehl's arm tightly. No matter what the archaeologist tried, the bracelet wouldn't come off or open. Nevertheless, Giehl decided that the problem is unimportant compared to other matters. The scientist went on with his work, planning to visit an artisan later.

Soon he started having lucid visions: Ancient Temple standing in the middle of a blooming oasis, funerals of legendary rulers and treasures buried in their tombs. Agitated Giehl realized he should remove the bracelet immediately but when he left the excavation site heading for Barim Lisar's shop, the archaeologist encountered a disturbing difficulty: as soon as he made about two hundred steps from the Ancient Temple, the hand with the bracelet started hurting terribly. Pain went away only when Giehl returned to the Temple. That's when Cardin got really scared. Unable to leave the excavation site, the frightened scientist is waiting for a savior who will help him take the evil bracelet off his hand.

New adventures start with Giehl Cardin's "A Mystical Ornament" quest, available upon reaching level 39
