Rage of the Elements is Rampant on Tartu! - some comments

I do not know how other players feel about this, but I personally think that this event is not that well done and will need some revisions and adjustments.
Firstly, it does take a lot of damage to get the number of Quintars to progress to the next quest, which makes it very expensive quest indeed. And there is no option just not to do the quest, for 4 days plus then you get another day of punishment, if you do not manage to finish it. This is the most strick event quest I had seen.
Secondly, it is basically not possible to do anything but this quest, as you get the extra creature joining your fight, meaning it costs far more to win the fight. This basically means that it is not possible to gain money to do the event quest, unless maybe from professions (apart from hunters). Hunters cannot even really do their profession, as the special event creature jumps in their fights too. Making it far more expensive.
I personally think that this quest does need revision. And I am wondering how other feel about this.

i do suggest if game does not want to wreak their own game please never do this event again where you are forced to do it or else. way too many have already said they will quit game and if you have too many angry gamers this game will go down hill fast. i do not want that happen being 1 1/2 years on this game
I started with about 11g and after completing 3 quests I ended up with half of that. And no chance to earn money up that fast to finish it. As I cannot pay buffs, pots etc for 7 hours to complete this quest and thanks to the special event monsters its nearly impossible to get any money atm.
The caskets are not worth much, tbh. I doubt many would buy it for the 6 insignia of redeemer and few mana elixirs which they mostly drop. The chance of getting anything better from them is rather low and not making worh buying it. Especially as you can get the hero collection pieces from normal chests from daily events.
I would personally say do not do this event again.
Or alternatively, when login in, give people option whether or not they want to take part in it.
Simply do the arenas and battlegrounds instead of doing portals as you can 20-70 quintars from one fight.
this is very unlikely to occur. usually you get 3-10 for a loss and 15-20 for a win. damage does not seem to matter either since I got varied amounts for similar amounts of damage vs the same people. there is a chance you get a large sum like 20 at a loss or 50 for a win but rarely happen. You are trying to make it sound far easier than it is.
It's still easier than simply attacking portal monsters ;)
What is the saying about frying pan and fire?
1) farm essences
2) collect from hunter taps
3) complete regular quests
4) earn money
On top of it all, the only way I can get through this in less than an insane amount of time is by participating in AOH and 7b and more. But if there are more people than usual it can take loads of time that I'd rather spend with my family and friends. Not to mention, big events like this attract large amounts of people into PvP battles. I would say a fair thing to do would be to allow players to fight for quintars at the portals on their free time, but that it doesn't affect normal battles with monsters. That way, people can still receive the "large reward" of this event, as well as earn money to do this event. Like, for example, I can collect from my traps as normal, sell the materials from them, buy pots and orbs, and attack a portal. Thereby earning the rewards as well as money to continue as usual with the game.
you say that it's better with a little challenge...isn't there already enough challenge with the game? you fight hundreds of monsters a day to earn, maybe 1g. all the same, you spend more than half of that on repairing equipment, buying elixirs, buying baits, seeds, and miners, buying orbs, buying gear, buying hair styles, buying essences, and other crap until you only have a profit of about 10s. but some days you may not have any profit.
This entire game is a big gamble and you aren't making things easier on us
That isn't quite true. If you don't participate, you have a mana debuff for 5 days and then a special 24 hours debuff on the 6th day. Basically you have to either participate or be punished for 6 days. Even if you do participate to get rid of some amount of the mana debuff, you're likely to run out of cash part way through and be unable to essence farm to make money due to the mana debuff (and the extra mobs joining fights). I agree with everyone here...this event is a fail.
Not a happy camper.
