ALT accounts

I have a strong belief that clan leaders should be privy to a list in regards to each character and there alternate accounts. The introduction of this has made it possible for people to maintain numerous characters within each faction giving them an extra edge that makes it unfair. ESPECIALLY if these characters reside in different clans... if your going to allow people to have multiple accounts, clan leaders have the rights to this information

IrishAs mentioned before, clan leaders can add me in skype. They can afterwards inquire if a certain character has more than one character in their clan.

Thank you

That may help alleviate one part of any potential problems but can clan leaders also get information on whether a particular clan member has a character in another clan or the other faction? A yes or no would likely suffice without divulging who the other character(s) are. It would be left to the clan leaders discretion as to what to do about it.
Bubbagorn,

Nope. That infringes on your rights as a user. However as it has been stated by Ihit, joining a pvp battle with 2 of your characters will result in jailing.
Irish,
This is the same Irish who hires the 9th to war on clans you don't like, or are mad at?? Why would we trust you to tell us the truth??? Just sayin...

lol it's ok we have very very VERY good players. the only thing that seperates us from being the best is our lvl. once we get up there we will be unstoppable ">
Wamphyrii,

Can you prove your accusation? I am really amused. But if you don't want help, it's your problem :).
I disagree entirely with the general opinion of this thread. My feeling is that if a person wants to make half a dozen different tunes and put them into a half a dozen different clans, it is their business to do so, and people running clans should have no outside access to this information. Knowing your clan members is part of the responsibility of being a leader, and talking to members of your clan regularly, you can sort out fairly quickly whether or not members are trustworthy.

I agree...be wary of new members. Don't give them access to any & every part of your clan right away. As they gain trust over time, give them extra rights. If something about how someone acts strikes you as odd, just talk to them about it. Most people are pretty honest about their accounts, and a few aren't...err on the conservative side & boot people that give you a bad feeling.

If you trust your members but are only worried about them having multiple tunes in your clan...maybe just ask people?

I have no idea what your situation was, but I can definitely empathize...not being trusted sucks. If it was a problem over the clan chest, it's pretty easy to just look through the clan chest log & see if anyone took from the chest & didn't pay or whatever. Hopefully you're having a better time in Rising...I love those guys.

Do guards even have access to know who has multiple accounts & which ones they are? I agree with the sentiment that giving info out about who multiple characters are infringes on user rights (if I'm understanding you correctly). Also...you told us that we needed to go to war with Inferno Elite next, right?

Wamphyrii -
If you were curious whether or not IE is on the naughty or nice list with 9th...you've been very naughty, and it has nothing to do with Irish.

That's all...let people be anonymous & hide & have fun.

but if that player is in multiple clans and those multiple clans are going to war that player will have to pick 1 clan to fight in and would just become a waste of space for the other. In a war you want as many active people as possible knowing who has an alt in a different clan is fair just for that reason. Also since a clan is ruled by the leader i think is should be fair for them to see the other characters just like when you go to get a job in real life they can see your previous jobs ect. . .

as for those people "hiding" they should be trying to keep their head down not joining clans and putting themselves on others radars they would be the kids found in the first 5 seconds of the game"hide and seek" trying to hide behind a pencil thin tree">

I don't disagree that having a clan full of alts would be a bad thing in a war...it definitely would be, and I think that clans should certainly watch out for people joining with alts.

However...I'm arguing more that the way you address the issue isn't by giving clan leaders to powers to see everyone's alts (thereby removing some of the anonymity of the game), but by encouraging clan leaders to be good leaders & get to know their clan members. You could argue that clans could be more effective at war if clan leaders had access to everyone's phone numbers so that they could call people up who don't show up for war, but I certainly wouldn't want my number given out to clan leaders either.

And...the analogy of a your boss having access to your work history doesn't apply here because 1.) this is a game & not work, 2.) your boss has some legal responsibility for your work product vs. clan leader doesn't have any legal responsibility for you here, 3.) you aren't being paid to play.
Lance Corpus,
lol, it's not like a big secret that the 9th and IE are enemies now is it? But at least we fight our wars..and not surrender, like some other clans we know.......">
Lance Corpus,

The question which will be answered is, say "Does Lance Corpus have more than one account in 9th legion" Answer: Yes / no. Not whom.
