The location of the Farmstead is mentioned in ancient scripts as the land of Sindari, the Moon Elves. But such a prime location, situated in the very center of Tartu, was destined to attract more invaders than the land's few inhabitants could handle.
Time passed, and the lands of Human barons and counts expanded their borders closer and closer to the Elven realm. Struggles for hunting grounds and farm fields broke out with ever-increasing frequency, turning into fierce battles and even local wars. To connect with the Humans and mark their territories, the Sindari departed from their ancient tradition, stepping out of the woods and building a stone residence for their rulers. The wise and diplomatic Elves managed to establish a good relationship with the Humans, but alas, this peaceful coexistence didn't last long.
The collapse of the Republic of Tartu lead to fratricidal wars and the country's division into countless independent provinces. Blinded by their greed for power, the self-proclaimed kings and princes sent their armies to claim new lands, ruthlessly disposing of anyone who wasn't Human. The Sindari had to leave the Farmstead to seek shelter deep inside their forest homeland. Control of the Farmstead changed hands many times, but even the most barbaric marauders left its buildings and gardens untouched, admiring the creations of the Elven masters. In time, the Empire of Sadar that arose from the ashes of the fallen republic conquered all rioting provinces in the western part of Tartu and Eldiren's Farmstead became part of the Empire, among other lands. Soon after that, it was sold to an undisclosed party to refill the Empire's treasury. The identity of Farmstead's current owner is still unknown.
