Among the thick forests and fertile plains of central Tartu, by a small river that flows near a place called Crystal Meadow, rises an intricate construction. Composed of studies, towers, and secret underground rooms, this building is the laboratory of the Dedaire scientist Krom Tander.
But even more peculiar than the lab itself is the giant crystal outside, which is firmly embedded in the ground. According to the locals, one day the crystal appeared all by itself, out of nowhere, and to this day its origin remains a mystery. The wandering scientist apparently stumbled upon it one day and decided to settle near the enigmatic thing.
Since he made Crystal Meadow his home, Krom Tander had been studying the crystal and it seems that he has achieved certain results. Rumor has it he even uses the crystal for creating his inventions...although as an inventor Krom doesn't have the best reputation.
Working on his mechanisms and devices, the absent-minded scientist more often than not makes a mistake or two that renders his creations useless, and sometimes even dangerous to unsuspecting customers...
