Square of Storms is the heart of Vaalor, a naval power renowned both on Tartu and far beyond its borders. All the significant events and holidays, parades and executions are conducted here, in the very center of the Eastern Empire. Locations crucial to the existence of Vaalor are situated on the Square or in its vicinity.
Windows of the splendid Emperor's residence look to the Square of Storms. Cultural influence of the mysterious Moon Elves manifests itself in the elegant lines of the palace. Each room and hall of the residence is decorated in a unique way with the use of rarest material brought here from all over the world.
The Merchant Bank can be found on the square. Once a small undertaking, it later devoured many of its competitors and grew to become the base for Vaalor's economy. Every citizen of the Empire who reached full age is allowed to store valuable items here and perform any kind of legal financial transactions.
Not far from the Bank is the Nationwide Auction House, doors of which are always open to the inhabitants of Vaalor. Services of the Auction House are always in high demand since they allow to do business without the help of foxy and sometimes slippery assemblers and moneychangers.
Two more important organizations that earned their right to be located on the central Square are the Warrior's Path and the Margin of Safety. The first one is an arms shop that offers its customers equipment required by every warrior: weapons, armor and magical jewelry that increases battle skills. In the Margin of Safety, buyers shall find items that can make a difference between life and death in a harsh combat: orbs, elixirs, magical glyphs and food.
At a small distance from the square stands the superb Temple of Dragons where common folk pray to the winged guardians and Dragon Knights conceive secrets of the sacred magic.
The Square offers a magnificent view on the Harbor of the Nine Seas, home to the pride of the Empire - its unmatched fleet that consists of fast boats, maneuverable galleons, spectacular dragon frigates and terrifying leviathans.
Square of Storm is adorned by the biggest magical crystal in the Eastern Empire, the Tear of Dragon, that contains blessed energies of the Great Dragons.
