Just make the tavern expandable for a gold fee. Keep the same tavern at the same price for the same amount of time but add a permanent room storage to it. For example : option to permanently add 20 slots to tavern for 5gold (1 time thing) ... then ud have 40 slots for a month every time u rented it.
Say u needed more room , add 20 more slots for 10 G , making it permanently at 60 slots for the same rental price. Make it unlimited space , ppl could buy as much space as they would like to upgrade but make it easy for the 1st 20 spots and double the intital amount as they want there tavern being upgraded.

i just trew gold and space prices there but that could varies as u guys see fit but the idea would work alot better for the majority im sure.

Let me explain a little something about truck driving, the ONLY thing I DO get paid for is actual driving. Out of my 100 hour work week, that means about a third of it is done for "free". In most businesses this is called a loss leader, look it up if you do not understand the concept.

I used the word "you" in a generic term, not meaning you specifically. It's a shame you couldn't glean that from the entirety of my post. So let me reiterate: Unlimited storage space could lead to people buying cheap and selling high and taking advantage of others in this way. That was my original point. Has it occurred to you that this is a portion of the game that is MEANT to be a challenge? MEANT to force us into prioritizing our bags and belts and what we choose to carry? If space is an issue for anyone there are a myriad of ways to handle them. Sell back to game. Sell in trade chat. Sell on auction house. Trade with clan members. Dust them.

This is not the first game that has made carrying of limited items part of the challenge. We'd ALL like more storage. We'd ALL like free Reals armor. We'd ALL like to have no Replicants to kill us off in Arena. The list goes on and on. I am merely stating that perhaps it's time to play the game under the challenges that are presented to us, and unless it's massively unfair to one person or group as opposed to another.... STOP WHINING!

To get back to the topic of storage space- i agree more storage space is needed as there has been quite a few new items added to the game( pieces for marks, dust, as well as new orbs food and such.) how about an extra 5 places in the rooms? The option for a second room is a good one i like it, however a payment of gold instead of reals would make it accessible for both real and non real players. I don't believe this would adversely affect the economy or game play to any great degree, it may actually inspire more people to make more things (which is good) as the crafting does take a lot of space. There are ways of increasing backpack size and you can add mounts, but room rental is the cheapest option in short term. I hope with a larger rental room lower level players will be able to start professions earlier as storage problems are always tougher in the lower levels.

it doesnt really matter what level u are at, even if you only mine but do jewellery, inscription and alchemist, ur space gets taken up quickly regardless of pack and tavern space.
they allow us new options they should allow us a space or 2 more in packs to compensate, or charge us in silver/gold for the optional extra to have extra tavern space above what is already allocated.

Well it has begun it would seem.

Ktulu has demanded that Teef and Myself apologize for our posts and our "insults" of him.

Apparently my insult was saying it sounded like a lazy idea.

Apparently Teef's insult was referring to him as a merchant.

This has, in his mind, justified quite a few name callings by him. And since we will not grovel and beg for forgiveness for the oh so horrible things we have said, he has decided to declare an unofficial war on the DD clan.

So he has his clan BCing the DD members. Oh well BC is part of the game and they can if they want.

OK, first off, ktulu has NOONE doing ANYTHING. This was the decision of the clan, not of one person. Second, if you cant handle the heat, maybe you should have stayed away from the fire. oh I forgot.... I like the idea of more storage. Would definitely make it a lot easier on me, as well as a lot of other members of this game. I really like the idea of a larger tavern room. I believe NoFear Blade suggested it. A one time fee to get extra slots. That's a great idea. Maybe we could do something like that. I'm very interested to see what the DE developers have in store for us to solve this age-old issue :)
