Hero incidents

Worst game upgrade ever? YES lets make that!
No more phials from insignia chests! No more Herorep from insignia chests either! Also no other rep or skellies!
Anything else? yes... we will tell nobody about that so ppl use their herostars on NOTHING!
:)
huh? the incedent monsters now drop violet orbs and give double herorep? WOW that should tooootally make up for it. toootally.

Totally agree with you as at the moment really need the VG and Hero rep that came with the reward chests and opened my first chest under the new regime true I got a collection piece (typically it was a duplicate) and two pieces of food - very disappointing when you compare it with the previous chest which was full of goodies and rep though no collection piece. Again true you can get double Hero points from the mobs but currently its too expensive in resources and gained experience for me to contemplate using as a regular source to boost my Hero rep. Lets hope they don't improve Duel of Truth/Day of Battle Steel/Martial Valour in a similar manner or I might have to consider if I want to continue playing DE.
so...
Ihit,
Why?
Up players spending reals into game to obtain items no longer available from chests is one possible reason. No longer a regular supply of phials etc although merchant for gold helps out it isn't here often.
Merchant for gold will be arriving every month.
Trader of Rarities is Melvin for gold, Merchant of Curiosities is Melvin with reals. They are in the map.
Can we know why? There is probably a good reason + did dropchance of Hero of Empire collectionpieces get increased?
Hells Legionnaire,
Trader of Rarities+ Melvin, has showed up twice in 2weeks I think :) which does is a pretty good update! :)
Seems a very reasonable update in that case, offering opportunity for non-payers to compete whilst not overdoing it by removing ease of incidents.
