you could try to make it but there will always be people that ignore like in the higher lvl brackets who dont like, but in the 22-28 its players new toy to play with and use it at every opportunity

I don't agree with this at all, even if higher brackets don't mount, if someone has put the work in to earn that mount and to get the money to afford a mount in pvp they have every right to use it whenever and where ever they want. If you can't afford the mount/scrolls then it's tough really players will use every edge they can get in pvp and rightly so.

That's why I'd like to make the period very small. I understand people work hard for the mount but it'd be fine for there to be no mounts 4 hours a day :)

Like hells, I disapprove of the total embargo on mounts in higher tiers, but 4 hours a day, people can spend time in AOH not paying for mounts

It's a nice idea but I know for a fact people couldn't resist mounting knowing the time frame when people don't to get an easy win and a lot of damage.

Also during these no mount hours you know there will be 1 that mounts and uses a BC sphere for easy rep - thus ending your time quickly

You guys are right, and the only way this could work is if we bced anybody that broke the rules and that's really stupid.

with this idea, its not an " I dont want to follow this rule , will ignore it." rule. It can be put into the game where within the hours, u cannot mount and will shut down running mounts. simple as that ,and I totally agree with this idea.

I don't agree with mounts being banned in any pvp, if the person has earned the better mount then by all means they should use it, some will disagree and hex that person but it's just likely they'll wraith and then use bc spheres as well.

You're misunderstanding. Blue gear costs little to maintain while summoning a mount for 1 hour costs 60 silver or more.

No justification for not using that as there isn't for mounts, they admittedly do cost a lot to maintain which is why those who either cash or make money well will always have an edge as they should. But the fact remains if you were able to schedule a mount free time period someone would undoubtedly take advantage and show on a mount with a bc sphere wraithed or not. It's a good idea but it just wouldn't work. ">

you missed what he suggested,.. which is the game REMOVES a mount a player has used. (the time will remain after the fight. if a fresh scroll would be used it would remain not so)

oky I blundered in guessing your understanding... one more thing to note is that mounts cost money... I have a green (soon blue) but I am not going to mount EVERY time I 7b (which is about 3 times a day and NO AoH unless in event) That is a big cost to do several times and I'm not going to screw over a very good experience to valor ratio (5.45 atm and if wondering go to guild rating page and divide your total valor by your total exp or e/v=R. A max exp and valor player is 5.01) I do not even mount for dot half the time.
