being able to stop the timer would be hugely helpful as arena and 7b often skips rounds when there is not enough participants. Mounts become hugely a waste of gold and we won't use it - should be a win win for us and DE

This might be easier to incorporate into the game versus creating timers on mounts....either one is a splendid idea!
