I believe leaders of a clan should be able to set different permissions for the clan chest and the resources store. The resource store could then be available to more members while still safeguarding anything more valuable that may be kept in the clan chest. I am not technical so have no idea how easy this would be but it sounds pretty straight forward and would be very valuable to any clan using the resource store to good effect.
