I don't know if anyone has thrown this out there...but, why not make something available in the shop (similar to the artifacts bought for essence hunting) that increases the probability of sparks dropping?
It has been several days since I've had even one drop, and an item like this would be beneficial to everyone...DE would make profits and the players would be able to utilize the higher levels of magic. ">
