I know why this would have happened though the name i used was based on my last name cocksey :) i've only just started to play this game so how do i change the name and will the punishment disappear?

Unfortunately it is not possible to change your nickname and the punishment will not disappear which means you will have to start over by registering with a different e-mail account than you used before. Just make sure your nickname is as unique as possible and is not offensive.
