Just Noticed With Eyes

I noticed while I was farming, I used a Fireball III spell which with an eye uses 223 mana, when fight ended I got only 1 Essence Of Fire, is this a bug???

You get 1 essence per 200mana used, so if you only did 1firespell it isn't, otherwise yes...

were you fighting a monster that was a lower lvl than you? In that case, like with all other rewards for combat, it was probably reduced to one.
