no enjoy the fun of being able to do nothing and I mean no quests, no coin from mobs, no wraith, no tournament, can't use dragon, no professions (gathering or crafts), and no groups or raids while a defiler. if arena is empty you have nothing to do ;)

Upon getting Chills of Blight you are almost guaranteed to be turned into defiler when later stages of Shaab will come.
