Red Items and the server outage

Should we take it as a given that the clock on red items has not been halted during these server outages? Will we receive compensation for any loss incurred?
They are quick to shackle players who default on loans yet it would seem far less concerned with compensating players for any loss on items they've paid for.
I believe that is somewhat of a double standard and one which should be addressed as a matter of genuine good business practice. It is as far as I am aware illegal to charge for a service and then not provide the "full" service you have been paid for. If you fail to do so suitable compensation should be offered to the paying client.

A simple time addition which added the duration of the server outage to the items affected would seem the logical solution. I'm not sure how easy it would be to implement though.
I can't be certain but I think I lost some food I was creating with the same thing happening that the resource was gone from my BP yet no extra food to be seen :/
That seems like a reasonable solution, not sure if they will implement it though :/
Ouch, yes I'm sure that stings, I know even even at my lev the ToH is expensive enough on buffs mounts and the like :/
