A Song of the Seasons

The golden sun rises up from the earth,
As my human friends frolic with mirth.
The trials have ended, the chill is over,
Life takes the form of a sweet little clover.

The petals unfold and aromas pervade,
A little grohl challenges its shade.
To dance among the colors is a wonderful thing,
Rejoice in it, for it is spring.

The sun shines forth with all its force,
My friend gallops inside like a horse.
The trees are verdant, the birds are chirping,
While Galtar and Helgar cannot stop burping!

The orchards abound with fruity treats,
The imperial soldier recounts his feats,
A time like this? There is no other,
No time better than Adan's summer.

I am greeted by a shower of red,
By the harvested crops, my friends are fed,
I am feeling cold and weary,
The next days will surely be dreary.

I can see beauty in these fallen leaves,
But I can't see it for long, I believe.
Winter is coming for us all,
So say the colors of fall.

Winter has come, all is dark.
The wind and cold have left their mark.
Not a leaf, not a sound, not a bird's little peep,
Even I retreat into my wooden keep.

One light, two lights, a barrage of light,
The darkness is the thing the Christmas lanterns do fight.
I hear my friends' merry sound,
For the joy of Winter has been found.

And as I stood, cold and weary,
I understood this day was not dreary.
One must look deep within
To see joy in Winter—and grin.
