Just A little Tip
When you are in a Duel Of Truth You should not use dot spells on the main 2 (a.k.a Krom Tander,Barim Lissar) as they are NOT effective it would be better off using them on the members of your opposing faction thus getting more damage and possibly a Lucky Item (a.k.a Marks or Blue Jewelly) It also helps your team members by helping to wipe out your strongest opposition

Spells like Shards of ice are EXTREMELY effective against the dot boss because they weaken his attack. Always use DOT spells like these against the boss (but not spells like Divine Retribution and Landslide).
Like Marcus said, they weaken his attack....and what if theres no members alive..only the boss....stacking dots on him....will lower his attack/HP....DoT on boss is very effective...
ALso, I dont think zerk dots are very good on boss...but pallies and witchers should use shards of ice all the time
The fire spell might work a little. Not sure if it works that much but it might.
I'm not sure if the bosses use magic with mana, or the magic animation is just programmed as a physical attack.
If the bosses use magic then the fire spell would help.
