I knew that there would come a day when I would start getting sick; worse and worse and worse. That day was a Tuesday.
I knew that there would come a day when my grey hair started to fall out. That day was a Wednesday.
I knew there would come a day when I would go blind. That day was a Thursday.
I knew there would come a day when I would go deaf. That day was a Friday.
I knew there would come a day when, in preparation for beyond, I reevaluated my moral values. That day was a Saturday.
I knew there would come a day when every last memory of my past life as a glorious soldier would fade, dissolve, and vanish. That day was a Sunday.
Monday came; I felt nothing, and all was white.
