Be to easy to abuse, why should you get any heroism etc for doing nothing but que'ing? Better idea would be to lower number of participants needed so it can actually run and you can earn that heroism & valor.

you can get it in the normal contest... my values are suggestive... and the incentive is to get more to que do more may take place

Plenty of incentives already there.. It's not in any other battleground so why should it be in vortex? Simple answer is it shouldn't.

no other contest makes you gamble 3g (or 1.5 reals)

you do realize that the buffs and potions you use for the other contests.... all cost more than 3g right.... so technically you are saving money. besides paying less you have a chance to win a nice chuck of money and get some hard to acquire reps and even an eye to make a maul. I'd do vortex my problem is that it only happens once a day at a bad time for me. also I agree with hell it would be easily abused and would make no sense to have you get something for the que not going.

No other contests provide the gear or buffs.

I think that one of the easiest fixes to get the vortex to run more often would be to combine brackets. If there were only one bracket for 29-50 instead of splitting into three, it seems like we could get enough people to run the vortex on a more regular basis.

If they'd remove level restrictions on gear etc in there and as you said combine the brackets it would run quite regularly
