Sea Battle vs The Vortex
For 1 sea battle it cost use more then 3gs if stop and figure it all out. Because you have to buy a mount skellies pots orbs balms Mount weapons buffs food buffs. which for me comes close to 5gs per sea battle. That is for the chance to get heroism and maybe corsair rep(pending if you have enough of the coins for it or maybe you get lucky and get a collection piece).
The vortex costs 3gs to queue and then you can raise the bid to try and get that extra life for being in the top 10 in queue.
The vortex gives you heroism if you get over 2000 points. which i have been told by a good source if you get heroism in the vortex its better then what you get from sea battle. Plus it gives you the chance at red foods red weapons a casket of plenty and an eye of the abyss which means a maul of devastation(in my opinion that is the best part).
So stop being afraid of the vortex becausee it cost 3gs to do.
Oh yeah sea battle can go off every hour the vortex only goes off once a day

if match limits were changed then it might be better.
btw if you have a link to a vortex I would love to see it.
no one has done the vortex and there is usually more that enough lvl 49 and 50's on to do one
Chance of eye of the abyss to make maul of devastation (that alone makes it worth going).
The last man standing receives 70% of all bids and the Trophy of Vortex Conqueror. Using the Trophy earns you Defender of Adan Reputation, Casket of Retrtibution or Plenty, as well a chance to get the Eye of Abyss – item required to create the Maul of Devastation.
unless the gears u find have lvl requirements, then only the higher lvls can win.
