It says that elementals get summoned into combats except the battlegrounds. does that hold true for regular mobs?

since elementals don't get summoned into battlegrounds obviously it seems this event is geared to get people to pvp more. however that is expensive and time consuming(which isn't necessarily the problem) the problem is that it comes with a punishment for not doing pvp makes it even less of an incentive to start doing pvp. instead makes an incentive to just leave for a week.

why not

A. make it like a day of steel or

B. get rid of the INVOLUNTARY penalty (i realize that shaab another great event has the cry of blight or whatever that is an involuntary penalty as well) but that is minor compared to this one. not only are we getting our mana generation hugely reduced but if we don't complete we also get stat loss. or

C. Get rid of the whole event (not because it is a bad event, which as I have not done it I don't know. (however it sounds bad from reading info about it) but removing it bc there are already events to incite people into battlegrounds and pvp)
