You can send private messages regardless of language settings. If you do not wish to see messages from german players in chats , simply turn off german in chat tab of game settings.

i have it turned off for me but i still see players tyoing in german how about abolishing it all 2gether from the englisch server

Maybe you are looking at trade chat - it's a chat similar to private messages you can see regardless of language settings. Another option is that player is accidentaly typing in english chat, when you change the flag near chat box means you're typing in that language.

Still working for me, and i'll repeat myself you can private message german players regardless of their language settings. Wether player will reply to you thats completely different thing.
