Garuug's Compass is a lvl 9 item under the artifacts tab in shop. Who is Garuug the Grabber and what is his significance?

it tracks down a funny looking lvl 50 you get to slaughter and seems like the norm stuff in the bags ive heard gotten and seen are just stuff that would be great for farming an eye

Once you kill Garuug, you have two choices ahead - open the spoils or battle with him again almost right away. If you choose the second he'll become more fierce with each time you fight him and if you win the quality of spoils bag and goods contained in it will increase. Purple and orange quality spoils can contain 0.5 to 3 reals.
