You can always use 'Create Group' option to team-up with friends in your adventures for elites , instances and much much more!

hi - i don't understand... i created a group for 2 of us. how do we fight the same monsters? even in arena of honor, we were on different teams. please help.

In battlegrounds no matter what you do system balance teams on it's own you are never guaranteed to be on same team. As far as monsters go try already mentioned instances or elite monsters if you wish to fight together with a friend.
