joining groups and making friends

how does this help with gameplay being part of a group can u fight monsters together or what benefits do u get by doing so

The benefit is that in a group you can take down higher level mobs, thus making everyone's spending costs less being that there is more of you there. It make take longer to level as there is sometimes one mob for 5 people in the group, but you save money.
