You don't get automatic rep during wars. Only in Battlegrounds.

1. Guaranteed additional rep just for using the BC spheres is accrued only in the battlegrounds, with queue.
2. In clan-wars, sea battles and ruins, level of the killed opponent doesn't matter, you have a chance to get a rep for each kill.
3. It's not enough to kill someone. You get reputation only if the killed player leave the battle with curse. The base chance of curse delivering is constant for all spheres and is approximately equal to 40%
Each BC medal color (of the killer) increases that chance by 5%, and each Hero of the Empire medal color (of the killed) decreases by 5%.
So, if you have a red BC medal, the chance to deliver a curse = (40+30)% = 70% But if the killed player have had a blue HE medal, the total chance will be (70-15)% = 55%.
This rule works everywhere. Even if there are no curses in the battleground or if the killed player had an immune sphere. Consider that there are curses, which are healing automatically)
4. Curse-dealing rule doesn't depend from the level. It works the same way for all levels.
5. If you've cursed someone higher level, you will get a BC rep guaranteed. But if the killed player had lower level, you will get the reputation as rarer, as lower he was (except the point '2').
