Anyone else wonder why "A slot for Knife used by Hunter" is shaped like a shovel?

I do...so look at the slot. Close one eye, it should start to look like a knife. Now close your second eye (for people with 3eyes, close your third as well, four-eyed people should close their fourth etc.). Use your imagination and voila! There's your knife...
