Does all damage count towards valor in DoT? vs Dragons? Skellies? Damned/Cursed?

as with valor everywhere, it counts only damage to players and not to any summons

Was chatting in current combat about it, and some do believe that the damned/cursed summon in DoT will add to valor. Some believe total damage is all credited to valor (like strikes and bombs on the boss). Would love to know for sure.
p.s. I think the timer for DoT is wrong. Says it's not happening until Saturday. Do we not get a weekday DoT before that?

(Hi) I am guessing as it falls on the evening of New Years Eve for the players in the time zone it is primarily aimed at the games organisers decided we would probably doing something else that evening and Rubido if you check the calendar for January DoT does appear next wednesday and weekly thereafter.
If it is not too soon may I wish every one a Happy New Year.
