why am i getting dmg on day of steel, it's not every time i die bit sometimes im getting gear dmg

When your gear breaks, who is killing you? If dragons or skellies (or other summons) kill you, gear will be damaged i think

Same happened to me.. twice.. gear even broke! If damage is caused when you get killed by dragons, skellies or summons.. then that's just stupid... after all they are part of a pvp battle.. aren't they?

As already mentioned by Marcus, be it duel of truth of day of battle steel - gear will break if killed by npc.
