there were no Cohorts left, only 2 players, no other summons, was killed by an arrow.

Sorry but your gear does get damaged if you die in boss fight

that was a PvP fight...the damage he received was equivalent to a PvE loss.

10 damage total, for toon, drag and mount, looks like PvP damage to me

My gear got damaged twice and even broke in arenas... and its supposed to be Day of Battle Steel
