Attack wont work

For some reason i cant attack anything im trapping animals it wont let me kill it i attack sinra or roaming animals wont let me it lets me move from place to place lets me shop get things from chests and everything else just not fight whats up how do i fix

it's the bug... Last time it was here, it ate three guards before it went to sleep o.o

Do you get any errors when trying to attack the monster or are you by chance trying to attack event monsters that are not in your level group?
