What happened to them? I can't see them and the elites themselves don't seem to be around either.

There are small updates on-going that will help you separate instances from usual locations, once everything is finished they'll be back in their locations, however thank you for letting us know!
Edit: Instances are now back and separated from normal locations for easier use!
