I'd like to remind description of all necro orbs - "After using this Orb in battle against another player and defeating your opponent, you get a chance of receiving a X of the Vigilant Guard Collection element or an Essence of Death." Collection pieces are not guaranteed drops each time you kill someone using necro orb.

I am wondering if they can be less rare. I tried to use the orb now like 9 or 10 times? And I still did not get a single orb. I heard of people having to use them like 100 times, while some get them almost instantly. I know this is about luck, but I sort of gave up on them, because I cannot afford to pay that many orbs, or not in few levels.

Re-read the description once again please. It says you have a chance to receive one or another, not that you're guaranteed to receive either.
