i have a quest item "letter to eriola" but now that i have the item the quest is no loner in my quest log....what do i do?

You probably already finished quest and quest item is needed for next quest in chain. Could you please mention exact name of quest you think you can't finish? Thank you!

You most likely finished the quest - and item is needed for other quests in chains. Just keep on doing your quests.
