Why can't i use Death Labels against wraiths in arenas?

Fought with some wraiths in arenas but i'm not able to use death labels against them. why is that?+

Hello Wyndflame,

Death labels are only usable in fights started with Bonecrusher spheres or other Active Death Labels.
