TENDO_PAIN, Are you using the lowest traps and baits? I found that when I was still using old traps and bait after I had leveled hunter, they would rot very quickly. Once I upgraded all my traps to the newer version, it felt normal again.

Yes as Storm Kat already was guiding you - you need to use correct quality of traps/lure or they will automatically rot.
