Bug with Ultimate hero star?

Used Ultimate Hero Of The Empire star at 20:11 server time today, 30th August. According to the description, this should give double rep for 30 minutes or until after a collection is completed.
Completed Blue "Glorified Hero Of the Empire" collection at ~20:13 - only got the normal 500 rep, and star did not get cancelled.

Is this working as intended (and you don't get the double bonus for completing the collection)? If so, then the description needs changing - if not, please fix and give me the 500 HoE Rep owed :)

When it says "completing a collection" it means that cancels it I believe. As far as I'm aware that's the way it has always worked. So the star will still be there, collection doesn't count, and bonus will no longer be applied. Admittedly the descriptions are not great and it took me a few stars to figure it out back in the day x

EllieJay is correct, after using star it gives double reputation for next 30 minutes and completing collection cancels the star.
