To create the Gladiator Boots, you have to battle Ghost Berserks while under the effect of the Seal of Searching. This Seal will allow you to obtain Substances of Revival. Find Gabrilas and ask him to bestow you with it.

I've been fighting these things for an entire level and have only collected one of three substances. What gives? Is this a joke or what? Because it's not funny.
