This settlement has surely seen better days with only a couple of houses remaining. When the river grew shallow, the miller moved his family west. Now only Vil Gimpley and his little daughter Giliara live here - the sole remnants of a once large family that was almost completely destroyed by plague.

They have nowhere to go, so they fight for survival here. Vil works in the field, growing potatoes, wheat and turnips, and hunts with snares in the nearby wood while his daughter takes care of the few geese and chickens that they still have.

Lately, some shady characters started coming to this uninhabited area by boat. The curious Giliara followed them and discovered that they stay in the abandoned mill. When her father learned about that, he forbade her from ever again following the strangers. Life in the farm is hard as it is and the farmer's small family definitely doesn't need any more problems. Whatever shady business the strangers have, it doesn't matter as long as they don't disturb the busy existence of the two remaining villagers.
