Description
It is extracted by a hunter from killed animals when catching them with a trap. It is used as a raw material for producing professions, as well as for obtaining the covers of Greatness and Reflection.

First, you open your professions menu (lower right hand tab or press P for shortcut). Open "Gathering" tab (first one). Click "Hunter" drop menu. Scroll down on the right hand side until you see "Knives: Lures: Traps:". Hover pointer over the "Traps:" and it will give you the option of "Purchase". Purchase it.
Next, find a orange circle on the main screen of whatever location you wish to trap at. These circles have a icon that looks like a trap bouncing above them. If you're not if sure you want to trap there or not, hover your pointer over the spot. It will give you a list of prey you can encounter there including their level. If you're satisfied, place your trap, but don't forget where you put it, you will need to go back to get your prey.
Then, set your trap up. Once you place it, a menu will appear on what bait you want to use. You can purchase the bait from this menu. Only one bait can be used per trap. Once you have set your trap, it will take 40 minutes to catch something. Once something is caught in the trap, Heaven's Voice will notify you. Go back to your trap and click on it. If you leave your prey in there too long, it will expire.
Lastly, you will battle your prey. Make sure to have your knife on you (can be purchased from the same tab you purchased the trap from). If you win, use the knife on the carcass. When you use your knife on a carcass defeated from a trap, you will get a Jawbone, a Pelt Scraps, and a Carved Ham. When you use the knife on a carcass from a fight, you will only get a Carved Ham.
