Essence drop bug
The description on the various dragon eyes say that every 100 mana spent from the required element, you'll get 1 essence.
I'm currently farming Essence of Order, using mostly Hammer of Order II, which costs 100 mana.
with the doubling effect from the Eye, that's 200 mana, or 2 essence drops, per casting.
I'm getting a lot less then 2 per casting, going as low as 1 per casting, or 2 per 2 castings.
the drop rate varies, and I can sometimes get 3 or 4 essence per 2 castings, but it's usually closer to the lower end.

You might not get exactly 2 essences for each 200 mana you spend, as sometimes you are getting 3 to 4, so the difference should be covered ;)

I've NEVER gotten more then 2 essences for my 200 mana spells, and I've frequently gotten only 1, and sometimes even 0.
The average is about 3 essences per 500 mana, or 1 per 166.
you should fight monsters of your own level or higher, as with monsters of a lower level the drop of essences is reduced according to the loot rules.
