Recurring Quests for Vortex of Trapped Souls

Starting today, participants of the most challenging and fun Battleground of all – Vortex of Trapped Souls – have one more reason to await its start. Every day, Master Davian will give you a randomly selected Quest to complete in the Vortex:
• pick up 10 items;
• strike down 3 enemies;
• deal a certain amount of damage that depends on your level.


Quest progress will save between Vortices, so don't worry if you don't complete it in a single attempt. When you finish it, Master Davian will immediately issue a new one.


Aside from respect of Colosseum's master, warriors who complete these Quests will earn Defender of Adan Reputation, as well as acquire the valuable Sparks of Abyss that can be spent in the Defender of Adan Shop in Knossos Canyon to purchase Armor of Shadows, "orange" Marks, special Mounts, and other unique items.

To encourage people to go rather than putting in quests which those wanting to go will only be frustrated more by not getting to do them, lower the number of participants needed.

Would be a nice update except that the time is horrible for me and there is only one time it ever happens. needs to happen least 2 times a day like tourney imo.

This Arena idea was a good one except for a few things. If it is going to be a BID arena then have the participates bid what they want maybe with a set price of 1g minimum. Have it happen 2x daily like TOH. Lower the number of beginning participants .. I been waiting myself to do one but 20 to start it (when we get maybe 6 max?) is a little high .. make it 8-10 and more reasonable.I would suggest more but those should be enough to start with. And I have yet to see 1 time where the Vortex went off except on the first time it happened on the 1st day it was available. This alone should say something to the game designers. There are those interested by not many as it stands at the moment.

ya'll might wanna talk to us who spend money and play the game before rolling out any new...worthless battlefields...you can't get Sea battle 90% of the time now Vortex never goes off....why don't you find out what the people want cause whoever your focus group is ...is terrible
